The Non-Profit Working to Spark Venture Capital Demand in Florida

Florida-based companies raised approximately $2.9 billion in 2019, according to a report from the Florida Venture Forum. While that’s a nearly 60 percent increase from the year before, the sunshine state still has ways to go to catch up to startup hubs across the country. Brian Kornfeld, President and Founder of Synapse, a non-profit focused on accelerating innovation and business growth in Florida, joined Cheddar to discuss.
