Meet the 18 finalists for Tampa Bay Tech’s 2020 awards

Tampa Bay Tech will honor local technology leaders at its annual awards show in November.

The show will be online and will start at 4 p.m. Nov. 12. It’s the 17th year Tampa Bay Tech has held the legacy event. Register here.

The organization, a nonprofit technology council, will present awards in seven categories, including a new “Bridge Builder” category, recognizing an individual in the community who is dedicated to building a radically connected tech ecosystem, whether through philanthropy, thought leadership or a commitment to social causes.

Finalists for that category are Evan Brenner of  Geographic Solutions, a Palm Harbor company that develops and implements online employment software for state and local government agencies; Brian Kornfeld, co-founder and president of Synapse Florida; and Suzanne Ricci, executive director of Computer Coach Training Center…
