SUMMARY:Access to Capital:Prepare your business for a fruitful banking relationship
DESCRIPTION:Participants will gain a clear understanding of funding options\, become familiar with the documentation necessary to secure funding\, and enhance financial management practices in order to remain “funding ready.” \nWill will have two amazing speakers helping you learning how to organize your finances to make your business more attractive to lenders.\nValerie Mondesir will provide the nuts and bolts of ensuring that your business finances are attractive to lenders (and other stakeholders) and Michelle Y. Talbert will provide your business playbook for creating and nurturing the key relationships that all business owners need to develop for their success. \nWherever you are along your business journey\, there will be takeaways that can be implemented TODAY\, such as:\n*Understanding different funding sources (banks\, investors) and their requirements at a high level\n*Understanding the essential financial documents and projections needed to get your business funding ready\n*Learning key financial management practices to implement in order to stay ready for prospective funding opportunities\n*Creating a relationship with a banker\nBy the end of this workshop\, you will have the tools necessary to evaluate and forge the best banker relationship for your business goals.
