A virtual lunch and learn focused on a workshop that focuses on expectations during the first 90 days of a new job and how to best succeed


Starting a new jobs presents many unknowns. Whether you are a recent graduate or have many years of professional experience under your belt, there are ways to make the most out of the crucial first 90 days at a new job.

Hear from experts that will discuss highlight what the first few months can look like. Learn how you can best set expectations in order to perform well and to form a foundation to grow in the new role.

The lunch and learn free and is open to all students, alumni and job seekers.


The panelists are comprised of senior executives and seasoned professionals in our South Florida tech community such as Sabrina Maday, Director of Corporate Communications @ Social Mobile and Rebecca Bakels, Software Engineer @ CITY Furniture.


Brought you by the South Florida Tech Hub’s Talent Committee and Higher Education and Bootcamp Subcommittees, this virtual workshop will cover the different positions aside from coding available across a variety of industries.

Our Talent Committee Build’s South Florida’s Tech Hub through initiatives that expose, nurture and grow our community, by supporting all levels of STEAM education, and connecting businesses to the right talent. Our current goals include:

  • Ensure our local tech talent is equipped with the soft and hard skills they need
