FloridaJS – IoT & Arduino with Javascript at Boca Code

ThIs event is on SATURDAY Dec 3rd at 10AM in the morning.
It is IN-PERSON at Boca Code in Boca Raton.

Interested in Iot? Want to play with devices that control lights and other real world devices? Interested in Raspberry Pi and Arduino?

Come for a FULL DAY workshop. It’s on a Saturday from 10am-5pm.

We will have 20+ kits ready to go with all that you need.
Bring your laptop. ANY Laptop (any Operating system, any age) and we’ll show you how to connect to the kits we’ll provide and you’ll learn how you can use Javascript to control the real world. Not just your phone or website.

NOTE! The Kits come with a USB-A to microUSB cable. If you have a modern computer without a regular USB-A connector (the original one from 10 years ago) then you’ll need either a USB-C to microUSB Cable (rare find) or you need an adapter from usb-C to USB-A. a small cable or hub will work. Even if you don’t need one and can bring one to share with an individual that forgot, then please bring one.

The Kits are provided for the event and you CAN take them home IF YOU PAY $20. you’ll get everything in the kit and be able to continue learning at home. You do NOT have to pay for them if you wish to return them.

We WILL have lots of robots, Cars and more advanced kits for those that finish all the lessons and prove they can move up to the next level.

We will even have prizes for the funniest and most creative inventions you build this day.

I promise you will have fun, and even learn something new that starts you on your way to a new IoT career
