eMerge Americas, Silicon Valley Bank, and Venture Miami have come together to support Black + underrepresented founders in recognition of Black History Month. Working in combination with eMerge Americas Global Startup Showcase, eight amazing startups will compete for a chance to win cash prizes, with the top two startups fast-tracked to eMerge Americas Global Showcase. Please join us on February 7th, 2022 for an evening of networking, drinks, appetizers, and a live pitch competition involving Black + underrepresented-founded startups! Plus – special guest City of Miami Mayor, Francis Suarez will be joining us!

All eight participating startups will receive cash prizes courtesy Silicon Valley Bank (prize structure below) and the top two startups will be fast-tracked into the eMerge Americas Global Startup Showcase for a seven week virtual program. This seven week program culminates in-person at the grand finale pitch competition in front of leading venture capitalists, corporate businesses leaders and government officials during the eMerge Americas conference on April 20-21, 2023 in Miami Beach, FL. Each startup at eMerge Americas will have the chance to win over $400k in investment, in addition to having a prime space on the 2023 expo floor.
