Cathie Wood thinks Twitter could give banks a run for their money

Cathie Wood expressed optimism about Elon Musk’s plans as Twitter’s chief executive while speaking virtually at Synapse Summit in Tampa this week.

Musk is going to use the platform “in a more profound way” than people suspect, according to Wood. He got his start in the payments world with his first company x.com, an online bank he co-founded and eventually sold to PayPal, she said.
