The idea for Synapse came from a number of hard-working people who all realized that Florida needs one innovation community to really make it thrive to its fullest potential. Back in the 2016 timeframe, the state was stagnant. On the surface, it appeared that there was not enough money, not enough talent, and not enough customers to have a thriving innovation ecosystem.
